Return, Refund & Cancellation Policy

Fresh meals are **perishable** and made to order. To protect food safety and your pet’s health, we follow strict, time-bound policies.

1) Returns & Replacements

**No returns** once an order is delivered (due to hygiene and safety). We offer replacements or refunds only for genuine issues at delivery. We will replace your meal(s) at our cost if **ALL** the below are met:

  • You report the issue within **30 minutes of delivery**.
  • The outer seal/label is **intact** (unless the issue is a broken seal).
  • You share clear photos (and preferably a short unboxing video) showing the shipping label, sealed pack, inner meal container(s), and the issue.
  • Packaging is **not tampered with** after delivery (other than opening to record evidence).

How to request a replacement:

Email **[email protected]** with your Order ID, delivery time, photos/video, and a short description of the issue.

What qualifies for replacement/refund:

  • Package seal broken at delivery
  • Spillage/leakage due to transit damage
  • Wrong items delivered
  • Spoilage on arrival (e.g., off smell, visibly compromised pack)

What is NOT covered:

  • Taste preference / pet not liking a meal
  • Meals left unrefrigerated after delivery or consumed after the “Use By” time
  • Issues reported **beyond 30 minutes** of delivery
  • Packs opened/partially consumed before raising a ticket (except for evidence)

If a replacement isn’t feasible the same day, we’ll issue a refund or credit for the affected meal(s).

2) Cancellations

One-time Same-Day Orders (Pune):

  • **Free cancellation window:** within **10 minutes** of placing the order or before the kitchen starts prep (whichever is earlier).
  • After prep begins, cancellation isn’t possible.

Subscriptions:

  • Pause/Skip/Reschedule by **9:00 PM** for the next day’s delivery.
  • Same-day skips aren’t guaranteed once prep starts.

How to cancel or modify:

Email **[email protected]** with your Order ID / Subscription ID. We’ll confirm if the request is within the allowed window.

3) Refunds

  • Approved refunds (for damaged/incorrect/spoiled at delivery and no replacement possible) will be processed to your **original payment method** within **4–7 business days** (bank/PG timelines may vary).
  • For subscription pauses/skips within policy windows, we’ll credit the missed meal(s) to your plan or refund on request.
  • Delivery charges are non-refundable once an order is dispatched.

4) Temperature & Food Safety

Please **refrigerate immediately** on receipt. If the pack arrives warm to the touch, seal broken, or visibly compromised, **do not feed**—contact us within **30 minutes** with evidence.

WoofPlate is **not liable** for issues arising from improper storage after delivery or delayed consumption beyond the indicated “Use By” time.

5) Our Right to Cancel

We may cancel an order (rare) due to ingredient availability, unforeseen operational issues, or delivery constraints. You’ll be notified promptly and offered a replacement, credit, or **full refund**.
